I don't know how to start this Post!! same with my 2011 I really don't have any Idea How to start the New Year!! I spent Christmas with friends Here in The Capital City of Philippines had so Much Fun et all and my New year's Party will be with my Dear old friend Percy...
I have been in this country for more than 4 months! So bored!!! I just felt lucky that even if I am so unemployed I am not that depressed thanks to my friends, FTV my Mom who is finally a full fledged JOGELS herself (I converted my mom and spent a lot of time to teach her to speak like a real Jogel) she would say "Don't touch the cord with wet hands, You'll get current events!" "and "Vengalore anak!" hahahahaha. congratulations to me.
But underneath it all I still I feel like I am missing something!! I was fortunate that after a year I was able to recover a broken relationship with my ex.. I was really a bad panda for a year going home to Philippines was one of the best decisions I made this 2010... What we have now is not like it used to be but da who cares vala?? I am a bit contented.. We communicate via email no sms only calls from his Condo Number oh well better than nothing!!!
I drink coffee like 4 times a day atleast its not espresso like what I used to drink in Maldives.. I am less stressed eat like a hog and sleep till noon... Food in this country is good but oily and full of fats (Thanks to Spanish Conquestadores) and we have McDonalds every 5 meters Gosh! AT home food was atleast made of vegies as per my special requests.. During the first few months I am a bit cultured shocked in my own land... yes going out on the streets in Philippines is kind of unhealthy!! and for a Jogels like me people give me strange looks, what the fuck I have been working abroad I am a Hero LOL don't stare at me like I'm a Martian!!! I attended a wedding a christening a funeral a fiesta and watched parades of kids on the streets, I took photos of the slum areas I was on domestic flights traveled 17 hours on a Bus met a lot of gay men who were all crap in person LOL but to be honest I spent weeks inside my house not so willing to run around and answer the same questions: where is maldives? what's you job? why do you look skinny? how much is your salary?.. Come on follow me on facebook you morons!!
Football is an Alien word in my country Basket ball is like everywhere.. But the heck a few weeks back everybody was cheering for the Philippine football team Oh yeah!?! do you really understand the game?? hahahaha Filipinos like to go where the crowd is, we really don't ask ourselves "Do I really want these?" as long as everybody likes it it's fine.. Then we Revolt and forget the whole crappy moments next day!!
I have a few selected friends real ones Thank you Jesus! They're always reliable saving me from the same freaking boring days!! They don't follow Trends They create Trends!! Let there be LIGHT!!!
Shopping in Philippines is funny you go to Malls with like half the population of the city walking around everybody has a fake Louis Vuitton bag.. if you've been in one shop you've seen it all.. They sell the very same things LOL as per my judgement the quality of materials in this place is a class lower than in some Asian countries no offense but I'd rather get dirty in Bangkok markets to shop than in Manila... Fashion in Philippines: Everybody wants to look the same! Most of the young people get inspirations from Telenovelas hahahaha crazy and there's the Jejemons hahahaha Gosh Fashion gone Bad! I appreciate the Filipino enthusiasm in Fashion but I saw some Fashionese on the streets raising their eyebrows at the uniformity of everything!! Wearing clothes on the streets really shows the crack In a country where there's a Huge Gap between Rich and Poor.. We say leave Fashion to the Fashion People.. I beg the young to Avoid being a Fashion Criminal LOL Trends come so late in Philippines as well tsk tsk tsk we need more Bryboys in this side of the world!
I am not complaining I am just Jogels!!!
I will go taking Photos of Fashion Victims Tomorrow hahahahaha
